Marc and Janna Milbradt are the owners of Purple Iris Yarn Shop and Marshall Sewing Center Service and Repair, located in downtown Marshall, , Minnesota. Their store has come full circle as they once owned a fabric and yarn shop back in the 80’s just up the street from where they are now located. Marc continued the repair business and has serviced any make and model of sewing machines since 1984. Janna’s passion for yarn and love of retail never left her, and last November they made the decision to reunite their interests, and opened up Purple Iris Yarn Shop and Marshall Sewing Center Service and Repair and have created a very unique shop.

Their theme is Welcome Friends, and they have created a warm, and cozy atmosphere to make anyone feel at home. Sit by the fire, relax with a cup of tea, and set your creativity free as you browse through the wide variety of fabulous yarns, in beautiful colors and textures. They have filled the store with over 100 luxurious yarns to choose from in any color palette imaginable, as well as books, patterns, and accessories to complete any project. You will also find beautiful samples displayed throughout the store. Learn the basics of knitting, crochet, and tatting and other needlework areas through many of their classes offered and begin your own Adventure into the World of Yarn. They guarantee you’ll become addicted!
